As one of the largest NAPO chapters in the country, we are able to offer many ways to meet, confer, learn, get involved, develop your business and get to know your colleagues. These benefits are in addition to the various national programs available to all NAPO members. Below are some of the many benefits of NAPO-SFBA membership.
Chapter meetings are one of our most popular benefits. They showcase speakers addressing topics of interest to organizers. Join your colleagues to explore new tools and approaches that can help you develop and enhance your organizing practice. Informal networking and lively exchanges take place before and after in-person meetings. Chapter Meetings are on the second Wednesday of each month. In-Person meetings are held at the Westin San Francisco Airport Hotel in Burlingame or in conjunction with our 3 regional Pop-Up professional education events. Neighborhood Groups allow chapter members throughout the Bay Area to meet and get to know fellow members who live and work nearby. These groups engage members and cultivate connections and cooperation among chapter members. Visit the Events Calendar to find a Neighborhood Group near you.
NAPO-SFBA LENDING LIBRARY
Our chapter’s lending library offers a wealth of print and audio materials for members to borrow for up to two months at a time. Materials are focused on helping members prepare for the CPO® examination. The Chapter purchases access to past NAPO National Conference streaming sessions that members may use at any time. NAPO-SFBA MENTORING PROGRAM
The NAPO-SFBA Mentoring program arranges temporary pairings of experienced organizers with newer members. This program helps mentees develop professionally while aiding mentors in building their leadership skills. New organizers who are just launching their businesses as well as more seasoned organizers wanting to branch into a new business area are all able to take advantage of this opportunity.

The Members-Only section of our website provides many resources to assist you in developing your business, cultivating professional relationships, and finding solutions for day-to-day challenges. Our members contribute to a Resource Database to provide local resources to ensure you can address your client needs. An active email group of members is a resource for questions.
Our chapter maintains a Scholarship Fund to assist those members who need financial help to attend a NAPO-SFBA Regional Pop-Up event or the NAPO National Conference. Distributions are based on the number of requests made and the amount of funds available. All applications are confidential. The Fund is supported by proceeds from chapter raffles, sales of products and monetary donations.
NAPO-SFBA members join to learn and be involved with other organizers who share their passion. Members get so much more from their chapter membership when they are involved. Every member has something to contribute, and volunteer opportunities provide experience, exposure, and the ability to affect the future of the organizing and productivity profession.
